Our teaching experience in some of Richmond’s most renowned music schools has offered us first-hand knowledge in respect to their overall educational approach. Sadly, as a result, it quickly became obvious that making money was a lot more important than producing quality musicians. Management at these schools even coached their staff on how to deliberately slow down student progress so that parents would commit to additional lessons and signing longer contracts. Do Re Mi Music School will never do this and our promise to you is that students and their best interests will always have top priority.

Sure, sometimes we offer discounts to students who successfully recruit others to our school as well as to students studying more than once a week.

All three of our instructors have extensive formal training. Two of them specialize in working with beginners and intermediate levels while our chief instructor, Iryna, trains students at all proficiency levels. In 2006 she earned a Master of Musical Arts degree from the A.V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music and is highly skilled at teaching even seasoned musicians.
